I felt that traditional Accountants didn’t do enough for Founders. Year end accounts and tax returns don’t help them grow their business, or make their day to day lives easier.

Using all my experience as an Accountant and Business owner, I have devised a program to help navigate through pitfalls of running and maximising your business.

Going the Extra Mile

Go East Studio have been trading for many years, but after going Limited and a recent investment, they needed a more robust business plan and procedures to reach their potential.

The first step was to get their first year LTD accounts prepared. Not only did we need a starting point for our analysis, but we need to implement a best practice approach to admin - something that may have been lacking in the sole trader days!!

We then created a forecast based on known costs and income, and reviewed any chance for extra spending to make even more growth for the business. This gave a perfect base for review going forward, and a target for the Director to achieve their goals.

Working for an e-commerce brand, the owner wanted a review of the business’ current position. After a few years of trading, they were interested in the specifics of what their busienss has achieved and a set of KPIs to monitor the performance on a monthly basis.

After analysing the current financial year, and creating a standstill budget, I then looked at what might be possible with increased sales of key areas, and even reviewed an old sales area that may well offer increased brand awareness and generate a highlife time value for customers introduced to the company from that revenue stream.

The final report was presented to the business owner, and they were able to use these findings to plot the next steps, and give a huge amount of confidence on their intra-month trading.

A multi-site restaurant (not called Plucky Chicken!) needed to keep an eye on sales and expenses, after around 5 years of trading. I designed a forecast document to automate and analyse the various expenses of the businesses, driven off of the sales forecast.

This was then integrated into one simple dashboard, and ready for presentation. All reports were available for Directors and those with access 24/7 and automatically updated with month end management accounts.

The company could stay on top of their monthly costs, whilst visualisng their year end position with every completed month.
